Miracle Drink,  Fountain Of Youth Recipe

Try this Golden milk recipe, really "what do you have to lose". For me, I drink this all the time and I find that it really works. At first, it really does nothing but on the second day I started to feel some extra "well-being" and I just felt that everything was ok. I know this sounds funny and a bit corny, but I started to get things going and moving without letting anything bother me. I guess this would work different for others, everyone is different.  All I can say is "try it and see".

In the last few years, I have been working hard on my weight and fitness level.  I am not saying that everything I post in this Blog is going to help everyone, but it sure got me to the point in fitness that I want to be in. 

Here in the video (see below), I will show how I can exercise with some heavyweights (120 Kilos) with ease.  Of course, it is not easy to get to this point, but by continuing to do a little every day for your health will benefit you in the long run. 

I will not tell you my age, but I will tell you that I have a grandson that is 21 years old. So it does not matter the age, it is your mindset and termination to get you to better health. To enjoy all the good things in life and to increase your immunity system to have a better chance of warding off all those diseases.

Creamy Parmesan Garlic Mushroom Chicken Recipe


I have to say that this recipe is really one of my favorites, also my friends and family are always asking for it. The sauteed chicken combined with the mushrooms in an ultra smoothed sauce just makes this dish, perfect.  

When I have a large gathering or family get-together, I usually put this in a large warming pan and just sit back and watch it all desire. Just make sure that you make enough for it will go fast.

 Recipe;

2 - Full chicken breasts.

2 Cups- Mushrooms
1 Tbsp.- Olive oil
4 to 5 Cloves - Minced garlic
1/3 Cup - Butter (unsalted)
1 to 2 tsp. - Flour
1/2 Cup - Chicken broth
1/2 Cup - Heavy cream
1 Pkg.- Spinach

1/3 Cup - Parmesan cheese

Salt and pepper to taste.

Here I like to use farmers home-grown chicken, the flavor is better. Make sure you remove the bone from the breast or ask the Butcher to do it. 

Now cut it really anyway you like it, I like it on the larger side. That depends on you. 





Brown the chicken pieces a few minutes on each side, keeping them moving in order not to stick to the pan. 

Try not to brown them too much, just a light browning is ok. Afterall, we do not want them to be overdone and on the dry side. 




Do not wash your pan. For, at the bottom is where all the flavor is and we need that. 

Make sure your heat is on high, for we want to fry the mushrooms, not steam them as they let the water out. 





Now the heavy cream wraps your roux all-together and brings in all the flavor, ready for your chicken and mushroom. 

If you would like it on the lighter side, just use sour cream or whole milk. 





Now add the parmesan cheese and spinach or really any type of leafy veggies and let it simmer, let it all come into one awesome dish. 

Remember to make extra for it will go very fast.

Apple Cider Vinegar Conditioner: for Hair Growth (Rinse)


The benefits  of using apple cider vinegar to condition the hair

1. Apple cider vinegar is one of nature’s most powerful remedies, and can be used to help the hair to grow without the need for chemical products.

2. By using todays remedy you can replace your existing conditioner with this cheap alternative, which naturally smoothes the hair follicles and restores the ph. balance

3. The potassium, pectin, calcium, and malic acid within the vinegar boosts the health of the hair, and is easily absorbed into the hair cuticle.

4. It also refreshes and cleans the hair, removing dirt, grease or debris which may be built up over time.

5. This remedy can also be used with our famous baking soda shampoo.

Recipe

You Will Need

4 Tablespoons Raw Apple Cider Vinegar
10 Tablespoons Warm Water
2 Drops Lavender Essential Oil (Optional)
A Small Bowl

Method

In the small bowl add all of the ingredients and mix together well.

You now have a completely natural conditioner. Lean your head back and pour this rinse over your entire scalp, allowing it to run through to the ends of the hair.

Let this sit on the hair for 2 minutes and then rinse with warm water.

Do not get this mixture in your eyes.

You can use any essential oil to add a natural smell to the rinse if you wish.

6. Apple cider vinegar has a very powerful smell, but this will disappear after the hair is rinsed. The hair will smell fresh.

7. The vinegar restores the acid mantle which is important for healthy hair growth. By re balancing the hairs Ph, it becomes smoother, easier to manage and less likely to break.

8. Split ends are less likely to happen when using this remedy. This works even better when used with baking soda shampoo. Please see our other video to learn more.

9. Alpha-Hydroxy acid contained within the vinegar also exfoliates the scalp, removing dead skill cells and itchiness. It destroys bacteria and fungus which may have infected the skin too.

Plantain Banana Chips With  Zesty Avocado Sauce Recipe


I just love plantain and even better when it is chips with a nice dipping sauce. I remember when I was in the Caribbeans and they served this type of chips. I just could not get enough of them.  What I liked was it was served in two different ways and I could not decide which one I liked better, so I had both.

Make this dish and serve it up at your party or get together and see how fast it goes. The crispness of the chips plus the tangy sauce just makes this one awesome dish. It never let me down and I am always asked to make more and to give out the recipe.

So make extra, for you will need it.

Recipe; 

Plantain bananas - As many as you like.

Cooking oil.

Salt - As needed.


Avocado Sauce

1  Med. - Avocado

3/4  Cup - Low-fat buttermilk
1  Sm. -Hot pepper
1/2 Cup - Fresh parsley (bunch)
1 Clove - Garlic
2 Stems - Green onions
1 Lime - Full juice
1 Tbsp. - Olive oil

Salt and pepper to taste.

Green bananas or plantain come in anywhere from bright green, pale yellow or even a brownish color. It does not really what shade you use, for it is all good. But, the riper it is the sweeter it becomes. 






When making the avocado sauce, remember to let the blender go at high speed for a couple of minutes to get it well liquefied.  

Now is the time to add more hot peppers or lime juice. Make it your way. 





To make the chips as thin as possible, just lean the cutting knife on your finger and press down on the plantain as you are slicing it. It will take some practice, but you will soon get the hang of it. 







On the thicker pieces, keep them about at least 3/4 of an inch thick. This will make them more crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. 







When you see that the chips turn a dark golden color, then you know it is ready. 

Now you may want it a little on the soft side, so that would be ready when it turns a light yellow or a darker brownish when you want them really crispy. This depends on you and how you would like them made. 



On the thicker slices, keep them oily for in this way it makes it easier to press them down without having them stick to the ladle and/or to the board. 







Now, go ahead and show off your plate of an awesome treat. Remember to make plenty, for they will disappear very fast.

Salt Water: for Toothache


The benefits of using salt water
for toothache.

Toothache can be an extremely
painful problem, especially when you are trying to sleep at night.

This can be caused by a variety of
different issues.  The most common cause
are cavities in the teeth which are caused by decay. Sometimes these can be
very small and only seen on an x-ray.

Broken teeth, or damaged teeth can
also cause some severe throbbing pains. This causes damage to the nerve.

Infections also known an abscess
are extremely painful. This is where bacteria gets into the tooth. This can
spread into the surrounding teeth and jaw bone.

Gum disease, and bleeding gums may
also cause toothache and throbbing pains.

All of the above problems should be
immediately treated by a dentist, however during the time between appointments
you can use salt water to keep the pain at bay.

Simply add one teaspoon of salt to
250ml of lukewarm water. Gargle with this mixture and then hold it in the mouth
against the painful area for 2-3 minutes.

Repeat this as often as you wish to
ease the pain.

This works very quickly in bringing
down pain, reducing inflammation and also destroying surface bacteria which may
be making the problem worse.

This is only a quick fix. It is
important that you make an appointment to see a dentist as quickly as possible.

If this does not work, over the
counter numbing gels can be purchased and applied directly to the teeth to help
in the short term.

In order to maintain good oral
hygiene, be sure to brush the teeth at least twice a day, morning and night.
Use an antibacterial mouthwash to destroy any plaque or bacteria that has been
missed, and see a dentist at every 6 months for regular check-ups.
